formatting $$$ values in D2W

  • Subject: formatting $$$ values in D2W

We're having some trouble with this. I've searched the archives, but
found only this same question, without answers.

We have two databases (for testing): OpenBase, and MySQL. We've tried
different number internal and external specifications (double, float,
Number, etc, depending on the database).

But the problem remains: $13.33 in the database will be loaded and
truncated to $13.

We've tried setting the formatter in the assistant but we get no joy
here either.

$###,###.### is the latest we've tried.

I can't believe this is not possible. Surely someone wants to store and
display values that are not whole numbers!!
