Java Client & signed jar files

  • Subject: Java Client & signed jar files

We have a client application that is using Java Advanced Imaging API. We are trying to have Webstart download the required JAI jar files (jai_codec.jar, jai_core. jar & mlibwrapper_jai.jar) to the client. As this process requires the jar files to be signed, we signed the jar files and added to the frameworks & libraries folder and merged them to the webserver target. However, we are getting the following error, "no manifest section for signature file entry".
