Responsible for developing computer programs to meet the requirements of
systems applications specifications using JAVA and Object-oriented
technologies. Debug programs to ensure proper operation prior to
production runs. Determine program test requirements; determine program
specifications based on use cases, data models and system environments;
test and implement systems. Solve program logic problems and design
logic. Conduct analyses of application problems and develop solutions,
using systems analysis and programming techniques. Formulate logical
statements of systems problems. Define problems, prepare flow charts,
design input and output forms, and define input and output data elements.
Develop and document micro-system design recommendations for review.
Modify programs as necessary to incorporate user changes. Ensure that
user requirements are met. Organize and prepare complete documentation
for computer programs. Conduct feasibility studies and investigations of
computer equipment and system techniques to ensure proper support of
system design recommendations. Requires Associate`s degree plus two years
of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
