context saves failing with timestamps

Previously working code that I'm touching upon again for the first
time after upgrade to the latest Java as well as latest PostgreSQL
version (7.4) is now failing. Whenever I change a date using a set
method to a new NSTimestamp(), it works, but saving the context
results in:
An exception occurred while trying to save the information:
com.webobjects.eoaccess.EOGeneralAdaptorException: Parameter index out
of range
I'm not sure if its something subtle that changed or if the DB upgrade
or latest java release has affected this. I'm just don't have concrete
timing on when things actually broke.. I'm just exercising this code
for the first time now.
