Calven,

I had a similar problem when testing my D2JC app from home. The "simple" solution is to let your home machine know where to find your work one. To do this you need to go to the hosts file (/private/etc/hosts) and add a line equating the external IP address of your work machine with its assumed domain name (Calvens-Mac.local).
