Any tips for someone about to deploy for the first time?
I've read the Apple docs, Marker's book, and Kheller's blog.
This app will be running on Mac OS X 10.3, MySQL, and built with Xcode (all most updated version) on a 450 or 733 G4 PowerMac with 384-512 RAM. 3 users from 9-5 for 3 weeks; I can reboot the server whenever to clean things up. 500 records max. No user SHOULD be working with the same records (we're splitting their workload). I want to run from Mac OS X Server, but I may only be able to run from a regular Mac OS X box; worst case scenario is running it from XCode and handing out the URL each morning from my 1 GHZ dual (1.5 GB RAM).
Obviously, after 3 hurricanes, we are not fully operational yet...so we've got to make do...
I've already gotten the point of building from the command line....any tips from those who have deployed and lived to tell the tale?
Thanks,
Jeremy
