Hi Mike,
I don't know how to look at the Apple supplied 'looks' beyond freezing
components, and the docs are painful. If I had a nickel for every time
I've read "This method is intentionally undocumented. You should never
have to invoke or customize it." I'd be a rich man. I'd pay ten bucks
for a version of the docs with those methods removed.
I did actually put the ERD2W frameworks into a new project at one point
but I only looked at it for a minute and I haven't been back to it. I
just didn't know how to get started with it. Before I give it another
shot, how do I handle the rule files? If there is a rule file in ERD2W,
and there is another in my framework, and another in my project, and
they are all named d2w.d2wmodel, will D2W find and use them all
automatically or do I have to do something to make that work?
I didn't know about the ERStylesheet. I looked in my copy of Wonder and
couldn't find it. A search for 'Style' brought up a couple things, but
just from the example projects. I'm downloading a fresh copy right now,
thanks for the tip.

Yes, CSS is very useful for customizing D2W, but perhaps more useful is
the use of custom templates. WO ships with three by default. You can
use those as starting points to create your own "look" frameworks.
Also, have a look at ProjectWonder. Their ERD2W framework has added a
ton of features. It includes an example "look" framework that you can
copy and tweak. It includes a "ERStylesheet" component that you can
drop into your PageWrapper.
