where uspalws01 is the name of the PC and the database name is legacydb
This is the error I get
[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error establishing socket.
just a thought: Can you ping the database server? Does the name lookup
work? Try using the IP address instead of the computer name.
