Multiple Database Question

  • Subject: Multiple Database Question

Hello -

In another variation on storing images in a database, I was wondering if I could
actually store my images in a separate database from the rest of my application.

The reason I want to do this is for database administration, backup, etc..

I am using mysql, and I don't want to backup the binary data in the same dump
as the rest of the application.

So, do all I have to do is create a new EOModel for the the new database, and will
WebObjects automagically manage the relationships etc?

Thanks,
James Cicenia
