As for an imap adaptor, wouldn't there be a bit of overhead as you
would have to have a separate connection to the imap server for each
user who logs into the web mail? I don't have a huge amount of
knowledge exactly how the context and channel can be configured so I
may be off track here.
If you had 1000 users, then there would be 1000 separate connections to
the imap server.
