This is a bit off the topic but if you are interested in hooking into
the backend processing of mail (like sendmail but much easier), I've
found the Apache JAMES project to be quite powerful and very extensible
with many features. Mailets in the JAMES world are what servlets are to
the servlet/JSP world. Take a peek here for more information:
