I was going to reply "yes, but how would I get the old EOModeler
and old WOBuilder", but then I realized that my packrat habits are
going to come in handy for once; I actually still have the dmgs
for WO 5.2 and XCode 1.5 on my desktop machine. So the question
becomes - assuming they will install on Tiger, and I can get WO
updated to 5.2.4 (both big ifs at this point), which would be the
better course of action, to stick with that or do what you've done
and upgrade to 5.3 with reservations? I have no deployment needs
at this point, this is just for learning purposes. We have a copy
of Tiger Server so I should have a valid license key to use, at
least in theory.
I just set up a machine for a new developer like this:
Tiger 10.4.2
Xcode 2.0 (Required for Tiger and WO 5.2.4 - *not* Xcode 2.1)
WO 5.2 then Software Upgrade -> WO 5.2.4 (keep the package around if
you are concerned with it going away :-)
Every thing works as expected.
