I have successfully used D2W components in my apps, where I have just embedded some of them in my own components. This worked, but the customizing isn't that easy if don't know what you can do and how to do things which should work somehow ...

The why, I just gave an example for, the how... well, you could buy consulting from David Teran, for example (and even from me, but only if I'm in a very good mood and have too much time on my hands, which unfortunately doesn't happen very often:)

Yeah, I'm sure I could buy a "coach" for a few days, but the projects we are working with don't pay the coaching ... so, no chance at the moment. I have to work through this by myself. Sometime ...


Perhaps I should invite you for a day, buy some good beer, make you drunk and then force you to show me how to explore the wonders of D2W ... ;-)
