yes phpMyAdmin too has the "incorrect" display
Anyway, it could be necessary to tune your WOapp to return utf-8,
too. That's
more complicated, IIRC it's described in in Practical WebObjects.
Or check
the list's archive, I've asked that question months ago :-)
I already did that too;) my application has been built (and is still
being built) with PracticalWO just on my right hand side;)
