I had a similar problem a little while back when updating, as well
(although it wasn't 10.3.8). You may be able to find the posts in the
archives.
I reinstalled Java, as acquired from Apple's download area. I then
performed the necessary updates.

Nope. No WO applications will run on the server. I am guessing that I
will need to rebuild the server. The only problem is that this box is
also used a DHCP/NAT/AppleTalk router between our wired and wireless
networks (it is the gateway for the wireless network).
I was able to move all my applications to another box. So we are back
in
business.

I don't know where that seg fault is coming from, but this does not
look to be a classpath issue or something wrong passed to the JVM.
Seg
faults come from native code, not Java. Will other WO apps start
(JavaMonitor, your apps)? Looks to me like it could be a corrupt JVM.
