I have just taken the plunge and ventured outside my comfort zone of built-in WO frameworks and into Project Wonder-ful!
I want to STOP the gazillions of logging lines from some of the loggers in the Project Wonder framework. For example er.extensions.ERXDatabaseContextDelegate is one logger I want to stop .... I can't see the wood from the trees there is so much logging going on!
My call to
PropertyConfigurator in my own Application class passing my own properties file has no effect, as expected I suppose since ER frameworks do not dependent on my Application class code?
log4j.logger.er.extensions.ERXDatabaseContextDelegate=WARN
I've checked the ERExtensions Properties file inside the framework, but cannot seem to guess if any of those will stop the logging. The only logging related item I found is:
#########################################################################
# Log4j Configuration
#########################################################################
# Don't change this
log4j.loggerFactory = er.extensions.ERXLogger$Factory
Any pointers please?
Also, is it a problem having my own log4j-1.2.9.jar in Library/Java/Extensions when at the same the ERJars.framework contains log4j-1.2.8.jar ??
thanks, Kieran
PS. Project Wonder looks 'wonderful' and the API docs do help ...... is there a article or book that gives more indepth overview than the README.txt in the source projects? ..... you know, something like a basic Using Project Wonder (like Using EOModeler), or something with depth like the "Enterprise Object" book from Apple?
