hi all,
i'm trying to rebuild the WO Apache adaptor against a new build of apache2/apxs
on OSX 10.3.7.
so, per the docs' "Building_the_Adaptors.html", i've mod'd
.../WebObjects/Source/Adaptors/make.config to point to my new APXS
however, a subsequent 'make' fails with:
cd Apache ; make
/usr/local/apache2/sbin/apxs -c -S CC=cc -Wc,-O2 -Wall -I../Adaptor
-DSINGLE_THREADED_ADAPTOR -DMACOS -DFORKING_WEBSERVER -DAPACHE
-DAPACHE_SECURITY_ENABLED -I/usr/local/include/openssl -Wl,-L/usr/lib -lcrypto
-lssl mod_WebObjects.c MoreURLCUtilities.o Platform.o WOURLCUtilities.o
WOURLCUtilities_3.o appcfg.o cfgparse.o config.o hostlookup.o list.o listing.o
loadaverage.o loadbalancing.o log.o nbsocket.o random.o request.o response.o
roundrobin.o shmem.o strdict.o strtbl.o transaction.o transport.o wastring.o
womalloc.o xmlcparser.o xmlctokenizer.o xmlparse.o
/usr/local/apache2/share/build/libtool --silent --mode=compile cc -prefer-pic
-DAP_HAVE_DESIGNATED_INITIALIZER -DDARWIN -DSIGPROCMASK_SETS_THREAD_MASK
-no-cpp-precomp -g -O2 -I/usr/local/apache2/include
-I/usr/local/apache2/include -I/usr/local/apache2/include
-I/usr/local/berkeley-db/include -I/usr/local/include -O2 -I../Adaptor
-I/usr/local/include/openssl -DSINGLE_THREADED_ADAPTOR -DMACOS
-DFORKING_WEBSERVER -DAPACHE -DAPACHE_SECURITY_ENABLED -c -o mod_WebObjects.lo
mod_WebObjects.c && touch mod_WebObjects.slo
libtool: compile: unable to infer tagged configuration
libtool: compile: specify a tag with `--tag'
apxs:Error: Command failed with rc=65536
.
make[1]: *** [mod_WebObjects.so] Error 1
make: *** [Apache] Error 2
googl'ing on "unable to infer tagged configuration" & webobjects is turning up
nothing (yet) .... so i gather this is a more generic problem.
any pointers?
thx! =)
richard
