The Project Wonder ERJavaMail framework is easy to use and can easily be added to a project as a "first step" or "dating" with Project Wonder. Marriage to the rest of Project Wonder can be performed later once you start to enjoy the relationship ;-)

Here are some "quick start" steps to getting Project Wonder's ERJavaMail implemented from scratch as a first time Project Wonder encounter....

PS. Project Wonder is really a rich open source project and highly recommended ..... you will be glad you got hitched once you do!

On a related note, I recently gave the docs for Project Wonder's ERJavaMail a refresher so it covers all the configuration options and has some updated examples (and added authenticated smtp support). Obviously a little more of a commitment than WOMailDelivery, but it has some nice additional features that might make it worthwhile for you.

Use JavaMail from java.sun.com. Easy to setup, eays to use.

Use WOMailDelivery if you want to mail WOComponents. Under 5.3 it will
use JavaMail automatically if both activation.jar and mail.jar are in the
app classpath at runtime.
