Clean install of WO 5.2.4 on Windows XP

Can anyone tell me whether or not I need to install each of the intermediate updates (5.2.1, 5.2.2, 5.2.3) before I install WO 5.2.4 on Windows XP?

I installed 5.2 from the CD, then installed 5.2.4 from the updater without complaint. But the strange thing is that I went back and clicked on the 5.2.2 installer to see if it would complain that a newer version was installed, but it just started installing anyway. grrr.


Anyone?
