| Hi all,
I am working my way through the WebObjects "Web Applications" tutorial, at http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/Web_Applications/ . However, I have hit a stumbling block in that the EOModeler application seems to have a bug preventing it from actually generating the Java source files for entities. I understand that EOModeler is on its way out, and that other tools such as EOGenerator are recommended by some, but this doesn't actually solve my problem.
I need to do one of the following:
A) Generate the source files from Xcode (which I cannot determine how to do). B) Generate the source files in EOModeler. I get the bug "Unable to write file /Users/david/Documents/WebObjects/Author.java.". C) Generate the source files in EOGenerator in a way that will work with the tutorial.
I can probably figure out option C myself, but it seems like a suboptimal solutions and I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this bug and whether there is a way around it.
