Hi Sacha
I managed to handle this -
I took my mysql version from the client - version mysql-3.23.52
And copied it up to the server.
I hacked the safe_mysqld file to use /bin/mysqld instead of libexec/
mysqld
and then I tried it out.
All works
Mysql 4 did not work for me on OS 10.4.1 ???
