I recall that XCode 1.5 used to be able to provide DTD validation error feedback for XML files. This feature seems to be missing from XCode 2.1. I filed a bug report with the XCode team and the response is that XCode never supported DTD validation of XML files. Unfortunately, I don't have any machines running Panther, so I can't test the claim. I'm also wondering if maybe this validation feature was the result of a WebObjects plugin for XCode that is no longer functioning in the WO 5.3/XCode 2.1 combo.
Does anyone have any experience using DTD validation of XML files in XCode 1.5?
