Is it possible? I want to store an application level constant in the application class, basically it is just one function that returns a certain string, but don't know how to get there from my object classes.

Everyone will say it's a bad design. One of the values to having an EO is being able to use it in multiple applications. For example, one nastiness I know of happened because people were storing WOSession in an EO. All kinds of fun happened with that.

Maybe if you can give us an outline of what you're trying to do we can make some suggestions. If it's a configuration thing maybe you can store it as a java property?
