I did this a few months ago, so my memory is fuzzy as to how I set that
in XCode. AFAIK, this is how to do it:
1) Switch to Application Server target using the drop-down menu in the
XCode toolbar
2) Select the project ico in the Groups & Files pane on the left
3) Select menu Project/Edit Active Target 'Application Server'
4) Click on Java Compiler Settings in left hand pane of the window
Target: Application Server
5) Turn ON the checkbox "Show usage of deprecated API"
6) Close the Target: Application Server window
7) Switch back to your project traget using the menu in the toolbar
8) Build & Run.
