I meant to add, that one of the things I have noticed is how many
ERX.....Utilities classes there are, and how they have heaps and
heaps of things that help out so much. It may be good if they could
be put into a package of er.extensions.utility or something similar
as it would help out people who skim over the java docs for what they
think they are looking for and will probably miss the most important
information by not knowing exactly what they are looking for.
I know I have seen once before the hesitation to package-atise
wonder, but for someone new to it, it would really make a difference.

Javadoc only answers a question if you know what you're looking
for. I
specifically was not talking about a reference, but rather an
intro. Like
a "why would I want this?" sort of thing. And javadoc's not the
place for
that.
In other words, an overview that gives context to the javadoc.
Unfortunately, especially with WO, there's a dearth of good "why
I'd want
this" material.
I see what you mean. Something like the original release notes "It
contains bla, bla and bla which do blabla". You still wouldn't find
"Postgres LIMIT", but might at least have an idea which project to
look in.
There's also a powerpoint file which takes the better part of two
hours to present, listing a ton of stuff. I'm going to WWDC, if
there are enough people interested, we could give a presentation
and someone could record that and we can put it on the site.
Volunteers?
Cheers, Anjo
