D2W is a framework you link to like everything else. You then have the choice to go into the back seat and let it take over or just drop the lists, queries and edits into your own components.

Everybody interested should read the Wrox book on WO (the chapter by Max Muller about NetStruxr) or look into the example on:

Can I style them as I intend?


Yes. No. Who knows. Depending on your needs, you need to create a template page, custom components or only CSS to get "what you need".
