hello,
i agree with Ondra, because there is a lot of
functions and i dont want to analyse them.
and to avoid any problem when porting
the c code to java, i think, the integration will be good.
i have another framework written in C which make
a RISK calculation, and i did not yet choose between
integrate it as it is or reimplement it or purchase a package
that do the same work. So if the integartion will be fine
for the matrix C code, i think that i will itegrate also
the RISK calcualtion framework written in C.
thank you for your interest to my problem.
Mohamed Mnajja.

Since that code is (presumably) done and bug-free and tested-by-usage
long ago. That is reason strong enough to keep it, at least in my
experience with maintaining big projects over many years.
If the code needs re-factoring anyway, well, that's another story: in
such a case there might be a point in re-writing it into Java. But if
it is not so, there is no advantage in Java strong enough to re-write
something which is more than moderately complex, and which works well.
