Java Client Development

Hi all,

Can anyone give me some pointers on good resources for Web-Objects Java Client development?

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I recently began developing using WebObjects and I am NOT creating a web application. I am working on building a Java Client application. I believe I've gotten a lot of the data & object model stuff worked out and am VERY happy with the ready-made java client interface for maintaining data in the database.

I'm ready to start adding the business logic, customizing the screens and such but the only information really available for this is the Apple book "Java Client Desktop Applications" that came with WO. If I were trying to build web-based client app there would be LOTS of really good books (most of which I own) but when developing a java client, There just isn't much.

Direct to Java has worked wonders for me in making it insanely easy to modify my data and object models as I iterate through prototypes and the customer changes or qualifies the requirements. I want to now build on this solid foundation but I am feeling a little out-on-my- own-ish. Even Chuck's forthcoming book on Xcode and WO is aimed at web development.

I'll be posting some specific questions soon, but if anyone can point me to some good resources now, hopefully it will reduce my dependance upon the list.

Thanks!

Dave
