Hi Joe,

I justed noticed that in the tech specs for WO 5.3, they give pretty
implicit permission to use the product on any java app server as long
as you have a license. This is likely the best we can hope for.

Yes, thats fine, but unless its written in the license file as easy as its written here i do not trust apple 100%. But besides this my real concern is what say customers if they ask about the wo license for your last project which you installed in their intranet on a ugh, linux box. Will they accept: hey, its not in the license agreement, but check this out: http://www.apple.com/webobjects/specs.html (lower right hand corner) ;-)
