Information regarding the WO5.3 Tools

If you are a fan of the Filemerge.app (usually located under
/Developer/Applications/Utilities/FileMerge.app) then you should keep a copy
of the 2.0.3 version which shipped with the older Developertools. The new
version 2.2 seems to have lost its great feature of showing changes
graphically (the lines which were so flexible if you scroll through your
document; and which make up the design of the app's icon by the way).
Instead you now get a completely ill-colored documentview which cannot
provide the benefit I have with the old version. I would see this as a real
downgrade, so I would suggest to keep the old one, if you liked this feature
as much as I did since I first used it on Mac OS X Server 1.2 on my first G4
Mac.

regards,
helge
