Hi Nathan (et al.),

As always with legal issues, and especially with Apple's obfuscation with regards to the same, IANAL.

Now if you're wanting to deploy, you'll need a license and to obtain a working deployment license for WebObjects, you'll need to purchase OS X Server Tiger which comes with a WebObjects Unlimited deployment license.

Are you sure about this?

Is there anything (technically) stopping one from using the "license" that comes with WebObjects 5.3.

It is labeled as Developer but it is Multithreaded (YES), Unlimited Requests, Load Balancing (YES).

I got the "impression" from WWDC that it would be ok to deploy with that ...

I believe software wise (technically) there would be no difference from a development setup.

Of course, Apple would like everyone to by OS X Server Tiger.

Cheers,
Ashley.
