It sounds like something is wrong with the license key. Perhaps you were given one for a student package by mistake (I have no idea if these are actually different). You might consider just moving to WO 5.3 and saving yourself the cost.

Chuck,

This is what I don't understand. When I enter the deployment serial number,
the throttle is still there. It says "WebObjects Deployment 5.2 Request
limit 100 MultiThreading: Yes". Having Deployment combined with the
throttle? Could it be that there is a problem with the serial number, I have
received from the supplier (Apple distributor)?

Is there something else I have to take care about (technically) to
deactivate the throttle?

Hi All,

Is it possible to use a deployment serial number with the
development installation, having unlimited requests?

Yes. But each license can (legally) only be used on one machine at a
time.

When I use the serial number, it says "WebObjects Deployment 5.2
Request limit 100 MultiThreading: Yes".

That indicates that a development license is installed. The
deployment license does not have a throttle.

The problem is, that we have a lot of WebServices provided by the
WO-Application and after 10 seconds running the App, we have an
exception saying, that the licence has exceeded 100 TPMs. Then the
Application is stalled. All this is on Windows with WO 5.2.3. The
licence, we have obtained from Apple, should not be limited. It is
the common 5.2 licence.

The deployment license is not limited, the development one is.
