MYSQL Error on new install

Hi all

I have just set up a new OSX 10.4.6 machine with Xcode and had to install a new version of mysql 4.1.18

This box did not have mysql installed before.

I have used mysql a lot and never really had any probs with EOModeller connecting or any application problems.

Now I get an error:

Unable to connect to any hosts due to exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 45

Any ideas?
