Hello Ashley;

of the framework and tools.  Tools like WOBuilder, EOModeler, and
other tools lead such experienced developers so far and then drop
them off a cliff.

I have to disagree with you. As I said before, I am involved in a large sophisticated project and we use WOBuilder for all of our HTML development. It would be a stretch to claim that my enthusiasm for the tool were derived from a lack of in-depth understanding of the frameworks either. We all work in different ways.
