Hi All

Just wanted to chip in and say that ready made applications that are used in the real world and JustWork™ can generate hype, allow potential developers and users of a technology to get started quickly and lower the learning curve substantially for new implementors. I remember when I did some work with http://plone.org/ and had to set up a deployment system on linux and windows but was developing on the mac. The ease with which everything was up and running took a lot of the pain out of working with a completely unknown system and language and got me to the experimentation and development phase very quickly with my enthusiasm intact (i'm usually excited about trying new technologies).
So a serious community developed CMS based on WONDER (would be my guess) and show casing some of the cool technologies out there, along with some tutorials to get people up and running quickly writing new leaf components, skinning applications, and using D2W would be great. The Foundation should take care of User Rights Management, etc, etc mundane stuff. Also keeping sentences acceptably short should be up for community vote.

2cents from the alps.

many regards and looking forward to an invigorated global happening on this channel.
