Hi Cliff (and Lachlan)

A belated thank you for the detailed answers. My apologies for not responding sooner. It was a 3-day weekend here.

I intended to comment on your answers and press for more clarification, but Mail has crashed three times while I tried to construct my reply. I'm going to take that as a hint that the tone of my response was wrong and best not sent.

Instead I will just say thank you for taking the time to reply. I greatly appreciate your participation in this list and I understand that you cannot speak for, or about, the Apple department responsible for the lack of clarity around WebObjects deployment on non-Apple hardware.

What if I buy one copy of OS X, thereby
getting WebObjects developer license, but I have 10 clients wanting
to run my application on Sun boxes? Are they all licensed because I
have OS X? or do they each have to buy OS X Server to get licenses?

If the license doesn't answer this, please consult with an attorney. I'm
not qualified to give additional terms.
