Hi Lachlan,
I've checked the provided templates and I have «DATE» in everyones!?
I've also made sure I've got the same header than the default one
(like Application.java) and it seems correct.
Maybe I should reindex something?
Anyway, just to make sure, I've tried your suggestion and it didn't
work.

thanks for the tip, at least I know how to add new variables;)
But it doesn't work for the files I added to the template. For
exemple if I add a newFile.java to the Classes, with the exact
same header as the Session.java for example, the variables is
Session.java are replaced, but not the ones in newFile.java.
The templates use a slightly different method for declaring dynamic
variables.
e.g.,
«DATE» is used in:
/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools/File Templates/
WebObjects/Java Class.pbfiletemplate/class.java
as opposed to «DATE» in:
/Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer Tools/WebObjects
Support/WebObjects Application/Session.java
