Honestly, I know of no one using the EOModeler support in XCode.... use EOModeler.
I wholehearted agree...

One day this feature may be really great, but it's just not there yet. Drives me nuts that simple opening an EOF data model in Xcode marks the file "dirty." How can it be "dirty," I haven't done anything yet???

When using XCode to do the EO modeling instead of EOModeler, how does one specify the width of an attribute? For example, if I have a varchar of width 40 characters, how may I specify that the attribute has a width of 40?

It is interesting that XCode allows such limit specifications for the Cocoa data modeling, but not EOF data modeling.
