Oh man, is it really so bad that you should be in a cab? I'm staying
at 610 Geary (Geary and Leavonworth) which looks to be just inside
the Tenderloin. Last year, I stayed over at 7th and Howard and didn't
have any trouble. I found this (http://www.sfgate.com/traveler/guide/
sf/neighborhoods/tenderloin.shtml). It looks like it could be a fun
neighborhood. I was planning on walking around.

Hang on a minute... I was confusing the Mark Twain with the Mark
Hopkins. The Mark Twain is at O'farrel and Taylor
which is in the Tenderloin. But it's probably only a $4 cab ride
from Moscone.

Hi!
I booked my stay in Mark Twain Hotel: <http://www.google.com/

Some reviews say it's crap, some say it's good. I guess it's
good enough for me, but I got worried about one review, that says
it's a bad location of SF. For you guys who know SF, how bad is
it? I don't mind about prostitution and stuff, but is it OK to
carry my bag with the powerbook every WWDC day (specially the meet-
up day, that ends by 10pm)?
