In case anyone is interested, the difference between Mark's solution [R] and mine [L,PT] is that Mark's shows the full URL to the user and mine hides it. Choose whichever makes sense in your particular situation. Rewrite rules are _very_ flexible.

Hello Jeff,

You can configure that in apache's httpd.conf file. A flexible way is to use mod_rewrite. Add a rule like this:

	RewriteRule ^/$ /cgi-bin/WebObjects/netBrackets/ [R]

Mark

I'd like just my simple domain (http://www.netbrackets.com) to bring up my application automatically instead of having to add in all the cgi-bin/Webobjects/... stuff, and without having to do forwarding on my DNS. I tried using a redirection index.html page (<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http:// www.netbrackets.com/cgi-bin/Webobjects/netBrackets.woa"> in by document root directory, but that causes a session timeout message to come up. Is there another way to do this, perhaps without having to use a redirection page?

Thanks,
Jeff
