Hi John,

In versions 4.5 and 5.0 (not sure if it was one or both), there were some scripts that would do a mechanical Objective-C to Java conversion. Depending on the Objective-C design, it could leave a lot of work to be done, particularly where dynamic typing, posing, and categories were used. It is work, but not impossible.

If you are interested, my company (Global Village Consulting) has experience in this area and can perform the conversion for you.

Pure Java since 5.0. You can probably get the older
libraries from
4.5 to build in newer versions of ProjectBuilder,
but not since Xcode
AFAIK.

Time to wake up and smell the Java. :-P

Does any body know that if WebObjects 5.2
support
Objective C? If so how to get Objective C project
compiled and deployed with WebObjects 5.2. Any
help
will be very appreciated.

Thanks,

John
