you have any suggestions for converting it to Java?

An old document that might help get you started is at <http:// docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25328>. I notice that the link to JavaConverter.pdf is broken. In earlier WebObjects versions, it was included at /Developer/Documentation/WebObjects/ JavaConverter.pdf, but it doesn't seem to be included with WO 5.3. I can send some instructions to you if you can't find JavaConverter.pdf.

The last time I ran /System/Library/WebObjects/JavaApplications/ JavaConverter.woa/JavaConverter, it failed because it couldn't find the C preprocessor that it expected (if I recall correctly). I was able to work around this problem by creating a soft link of the expected C preprocessor name pointing to an existing C preprocessor. I suspect that the fix will be obvious when you run JavaConverter.

Aloha,
Art
