After talking with Pierre, we agreed that it seemed to not make sense to have two WebObjects wikis. The WebObjects wikibook is hosted at wikibooks.org, one of the Wikimedia wikis (the guys who made Wikipedia). As a result, it has had a larger development base and has some features that are particularly compelling that would have had to have been reimplemented on Pierre's wiki to keep things at wodev. It made more since to migrate the content to the wikibook and just get the development from the wikimedia community for free.

This weekend I moved all (well, edited for content that is now out of date, but about 90+%) of wodev's content over to the wikibook and merged in with the wikibook's organization. Moving forward, the wikibook will be the primary location.

For some stats, WODev was started Oct 6, 2001 and the conversion included around 200 pages of content spanning from WO 4.5 through the present. I just wanted to thank Pierre for both developing the wodev.com wiki, hosting and supporting it for the past 5 years, and providing everyone in the community a wealth of information.

The url for the new WebObjects Wikibook is http://en.wikibooks.org/w/ index.php?title=Programming:WebObjects .
