I managed to fix my problem. I increased the receive timeout to 60
seconds on my http adapter from JavaMonitor. It seems my main page is
taking too long to generate.

If you can't, then the adaptor has no chance either. The response should
be the configuration xml.
Check:
- is wotaskd running?
- does localhost.localdomain resolve to a valid ip (127.0.0.1)?
- is port 1085 somehow blocked (e.g. firewalled on lo0)?
