problem generating pdf using apache FOP

Dear WebObjects collegues,

I tried everithing, but I get strings such "\000d" instead if carriage return in generated pdf files.

I followed the Practical WeboOjects XML output Chapter (Generating PDF from XML)

Any suggestion?
