That doesn't matter, as you're most certainly go and develop with
Eclipse. This is the recommended IDE for all platforms now.

So, to get the newest WO installed, I'd install 5.2.x from CD and
then replace all the frameworks with the ones from the Xcode package
from the developer side. Then install Eclipse 3.2.2 and WOLips stable
and go on ...

I've done the same but without the cd, the only problem is that Eclipse doesn't see the frameworks so you need to import them by hand.
