But it is a very sound business reason.
I know that apple have patents they need to protect, and their
internal disclosure policy doesn't lend itself to open source
projects at all. But It would be good if the source were made
available under a "look but don't touch, don't redistribute, don't
talk about fight club" license, it would be enough to help with
understanding how and why some of the darker corners of WO work, and
allow for contributing more detailed bug reports into radar. I can't
see this happening any time soon, but it would be nice to have a
legitimate way to do this.
