Ah, OK, that was more in line with what I remembered happening.
Also, it reminds me: the other great thing about Practical
WebObjects, given the current climate of WebObjects tools, is that it
starts with Eclipse. Chapter 1, page 1 of Practical WO is titled
"What is Eclipse?"
So if you're looking for a really good "best development tools
practices" type of book, Practical WO is it. I haven't seen others
that compare in this respect, mostly since they are derived from the
days of Project Builder.

I don't know if (how?!) I missed this development or what, but if
you search for "WebObjects" on Amazon, you can find this book:

But not shipping for 4-7 weeks? What's up? :-)
Those dates are incorrect. I should say "Ships In: Not in your
lifetime" :-)
This book was cancelled shortly after WWDC last year. It is
_never_ going to be written. Between marketing at my publisher and
Amazon the message does not seem to be moving at Internet Speed. :-P
Time permitting, we may resurrect it for Eclipse and WOLips (which
is what I wanted to start with).
Bottom line: don't order this book and if you are starting in WO,
do NOT start with Xcode unless you already know it well.
