I agree with Kieran completely, but for people who just don't like
Eclipse/WOLips (compared to Xcode, specifically), what /exactly/ is
it that you don't like?
Not Eclipse / Xcode but Entity Modeler / EOModeler:
I was really used to the keyboard shortcuts in EOModeler to add
attributes, relationships and switch to the inspector.
Is there a way of getting Entity Modeler behave more like EOModeler
for shortcuts?
Note #4: Seriously, this is NOT a question about WOBuilder.
Damn ... ;-)
3. User Interface doesn't "feel OS Xish" -- This is leveled a lot,
but I'm REALLY curious to find out SPECIFICS of what people mean by
it.
For me, it more or less that I use to mouse MUCH more in Eclipse,
than I do in native Cocoa apps (see the comment for Entity Modeler).
The shortcuts and behaviour changes, when you switch between
perspectives. The whole thing (the combo of Eclipse and all the
"modules" used in there) is somewhat inconsistant in that part.
I just like to do more with more common shortcuts and more consistant
behaviour. I can't lay my finger on specific things - perhaps I
haven't configured Eclipse in a way that it really behaves like I
want it.
