D2W and Direct Actions

Hi there,

just delving into the world of D2W (after all this time)... I notice that D2W.defaultPage(WOSession) needs a session.

Naturally I can subclass and provide a defaultPage(WOContext) but I'm wondering how much of the D2W components/framework require a session to work?

Does anyone know which of the D2W components (whether from Apple or ProjectWonder) are session-less friendly?

I'd like to be able to take advantage of the D2W stuff but only requiring a session during the checkout phase etc.

What are others doing in this area?

Much appreciated...

with regards,
